Last week, photographer and shop owner Skye Parrot added a new title to her resume; after selecting some of New York's most famous photographers for her photo exhibit currently showing at BAM entitled "Younger Than I'll Be," Skye can now call herself a curator. With stills from Larry Clarks Kids and street photos from the likes of Cass Bird, Virginia Parrot and even Skye herself, the Natman room of BAM was jam packed last Wednesday at the opening of the show that reflects on "the overwhelming experience of coming into one's own in a place as exceptional as New York." As the drinks flowed and camera clickers poured in to see the work, it was safe to say that Skye Parrot put together one of the more impressive premiere shows in a long time. Be sure to check it out now through May 23. Click through for more shots from opening night at BAM. (Brendan Bass)
