You can add Uniqlo to the growing list of Chloë Sevigny’s fashion endeavors. The 38-year old actress is one of three faces to appear in Uniqlo’s FW ’13 campaign promoting the brand’s new silk and cashmere sweaters and cardigans that will be available in a multitude of styles and colors (somewhere over 330, no joke).
The campaign features Sevigny, model, Lily Donaldson, and the campaign photographer, Ryan McGinley. Olivier Zahm, the editor of Purple Diary, art directed campaign that consists of a single model sitting in a seat or standing in front of a pastel, and at times, floral backdrop. The shoot is much different than previous Uniqlo campaigns that were very minimal, featuring younger models, actors, actresses, and musicians having fun or established celebrities like Orlando Bloom and Charlize Theron in active outerwear. Nonetheless, the campaign is very mature and alluring much like the clothing in the collection itself.
