Levi's x OC: Preview pics of the latest Opening Ceremony x Levi's collaboration, shot by Terry Richardson, starring Anais Pouliot and actor PJ Ransone are out now. The collection will hit stores next week. (OC)

Band of Outsiders Makes Moves: The label leaves The News to open its own NY showroom, is planning its first runway show for NY Fashion Week, inks a Japanese distro deal and is planning retail stores in Japan. The company last year rang up sales of $8 million and is planning 2011 revenues to grow 50 percent to $12 million. Much of that growth is expected to come from the contemporary Girl line, which has doubled in size to about 60 styles for fall. (WWD)

Gilt group uses Apps to expand in Japan: The online retailer is pressing for major expansion in Japan. But much of the growth will come from greater social media outreach, starting with the Japanese version of Gilts apps for the iPad and iPhone that were launched earlier this week. (WSJ)
