Nothing Was The Same since Drake's album leaked this week. Or maybe it wasn't the same because of iOS7? Regardless, this week changed our mindset and our general outlooks on life since the news of D.C. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected...

1. Is Fashion Week for Sale? via Business of Fashion

The advertising and media circus known only as NYFW transformed Lincoln Center into Times Square and in addition, Prabal Gurung, Scott Schuman, Garance Doré and Susie Bubble (who's real name is Susie Lau) were a few prominent fashion folks that shared sponsored tweets and Instagram photos during NYFW. Business of Fashion poses a question about the integrity of week and if it will succumb to the will of advertisers looking to capture a new market segment.

In further NYFW aftermath news, Dazed & Confused builds a case for saving the runway show photos for those shooting in the pit. Taking photos and shooting video during the show take the audience out of the show and out of the designer's vision for the season. This issue that is commonplace in concerts, sporting events and more is on the brink of spiraling out of control since onlookers are more willing to take a selfie during a show while sitting front row.

3. How R. Kelly Predicted Today's Style Trends via Complex

In a funny twist in trendsetting, Complex makes a case for R. Kelly's sartorial choices. Baseball jerseys, drop crotch pants, quilted jackets and masks can be credited to the Chicago crooner's fashion foresight if you don't believe in coincidences.

4. Training the Next Generation of Italian Artisans via WWD

Brunello Cucinelli, Brioni, fashion school Polimoda and more are devoted to passing on their knowledge to Italy's next generation of designers and artists. They all believe and agree that Italy's youth is not interested in clothing design. In response to this, they are creating and implementing in-house tailoring programs and a technology-centric curriculum that they hope to generate interest and guarantee employment upon completion.
