Noble began as a one-man operation with the goal of both learning and perfecting the art of making jeans. Founder Chris Sutton began making each pair by hand out of Nobles Cincinnati Workshop, which is still used as a creative space where small batch products are made. Primary denim production has moved to rural Tennessee, in a 25 year old family-owned factory with a dedicated (and talented) team of just four. The factory is one of the few still producing clothing in Americas heartland, an important distinction the Noble team sees as an opportunity to preserve and reclaim an old tradition and also propel it into the future.
