After 4 years of success, Vogue's Fashion's Night Out has definitely become the key event of the September comeback. New York was shining, as usual, but Paris was the place to be for anyone landing from Saint Barths or Saint Tropez. Stores were open late into the night to encourage shopping and stimulate cashflow, but it was also an opportunity to be a part of an atmosphere where fashion is supposed to be fun and playful. There were an array of activities, "fancy" and otherwise, like hairdressing, hula hoop sessions, and free false moustache giveaways across the city.
Spotted: Nicola Formichetti, head designer of Mugler and very good friend of Gaga, walking in the crowd as a perfect stranger among all the Parisian hipsters.
Vogue Paris' new Editor-in-Chief, Emmanuelle Alt, toured Saint Honoré on a very chic trip with champagne at Chanel, cotton candy at American Apparel and Martini cocktails at Kenzo. The perfect survival kit for the new explorer!
