Update! As of today (4-11-14) Drapers has confirmed that this summer will be the last season that LCM will have a one-day overlap with Pitti Uomo. For the AW15 season, LCM will run from Jan 10-12. As mentioned below, Pitti will open it's doors on the 13th. Read more of the update at Drapers.
Unlike last year, where Pitti and LCM ran parallel to each other both starting a day apart, we're hoping that these date changes will ease everyones travel woes. WWD reported on the date shifts this morning. See an excerpt below and hope that next weeks talks between Pitti and LCM go smoothly. - MS, WATM
"Next January, journalists and buyers might not have to interrupt their holiday season to start their tour of men’s fashion capitals. This week, Florence-based international trade show Pitti Uomo, Italy’s Camera della Moda and Paris’ Fédération Française de la Couture agreed to postpone the dates of their men’s fashion weeks. Four-day Pitti Uomo will open its doors on Jan. 13, while Milan Fashion Week will run Jan. 17 to 20. Paris Fashion Week will follow, from Jan. 21 to 25." - WWD
