With his latest collection recently unveiled to the world - Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg can finally relax. Inspired by 1970's public access TV show created by Glenn O Brien, called TV PARTY, the collection featured twisted takes on preppy and nautical looks. There was plenty of door drama at his show at Milk Studios but the video of Max Minghella and rapper Charles Hamilton wearing the clothes was pretty cool. Sternberg has totally revived the Sperry brand among a certain set of stylesetting young men, and this season Sternberg showed a velcro version, and one that fastened with safety pins.  Sternberg weighs in on his pics for Fashion Week. 1. Besides your own - what collection are you most looking forward to seeing during fashion week?
Thakoon.  He's my bud and he's brilliant.

2. What did you do to celebrate after your presentation?
Dinner with my parents and a long night's sleep.

3. Fashion week questions aside - since we are already into Fall, what I want to know is how you spent your summer?
Summer was all about Lego.  I built a shop out of Legos at Opening Ceremony LA.  Lots of work but equal amounts of fun.   Playwell.bandofoutsiders.com.
