We invited some of our favorite menswear nerds in the industry to check out the Capsule NY Men's show and put together a list of what caught their eyes. Here are the curated choices from one of the one of fashions favorite photographers- Christopher Fenimore.
This coat from Han Kjobenhavn is equal parts cardigan, equal parts jacket. Just basic enough to be a staple but weird enough to stand out in a crowd. I'm impressed by the minimalism of this collection that stays true to what (I think) I know of Danish design.
These waxed vests from Remi Relief are incredible--simple, with a twist. Indigo is a favorite dye of mine (and everyone else's) and with polar vortices knocking at our door, it's hard to ignore how warm these are.
I've had my eye on General Idea since I had the chance to attend their SS14 show last year. I'm all about sweaters with contrasting details lately and this seems to be the most versatile one.
I've never heard of Neuba but when I saw their booth I was blown away. Each of the shirts are handmade with patterns designed in England and again, hefty enough to keep you warm but thin enough to wear under a sweater.
Billy Reid, whose name should be a household institution by now, rebooted the classic five-pocket jean in a variety of colors in moleskin. These are perfect for winter.
Diemme makes a great sneaker and these are no exception. I like the look of wool, especially contrasted with leather of suede, and these go well dressed up or down.
