Active Lifestyle to get New Focus at Capsule Women's Shows with Axis

Capsule and Axis, two shows part of the Reed Fashion Group owned by Reed Exhibitions, announced today that they will unify for Spring/Summer 2017. Axis has been reformatted as an integrated special section at Capsule, to focus on Active Lifestyle and will debut at Capsule women’s New York and the new Capsule Los Angeles edition this fall. This merger aims to strategically enhance Capsule’s position as the largest curated women’s market event under one roof.

Capsule Women’s and Axis have steadily gained momentum in recent seasons. Launched in 2015, Axis was themulti-category exhibition of 200+ women’s collections aimed at Millennials. Capsule’s women’s shows, focused on progressive contemporary apparel and accessories, have grown exponentially since their debut in 2010. The addition of the newly-focused Axis section, comprised of lifestyle brands in the sports lifestyle, contemporary activewear, swimwear, athleisure, athletic footwear, wearable consumer electronics, athletic lounge and intimates categories will drive Capsule’s trajectory as one of the market’s most progressive women’s events. This strategic alignment will provide increased convenience for both brands and retailers and will further demonstrate Capsule’s dedication to delivering an unmatched offering of emerging and established market trends.
