Fashion week is upon us and while we're watching the SS14 garb trail down the runway, fall is clearly on our minds in the office. Bahr's list of whats in store is filled with the cozy stuff we cant wait to wear. Check. It. Out!
Leather Jacket by Supreme
Supreme revisits their yearly Schott collabo for yet another amazing round of jackets. This time its the MA-1 style; perfect for starting Fall on the right foot.
The red, seen recently on Drake, is for those up to a challenge. Me, I prefer low key black.
Garbadine 7 Panel Cap by Norse Projects
Our friends at Norse Projects are already well known for their five panel caps, but this season theyve taken it to the next level and come correct with the a seven panel that looks a bit neater than its cousin the five. Maybe time to take it up a notch!
As I get older I tend to look at certain pieces as a MUST for any gentlemans wardrobe. Beams+ read my mind this season with an awesome Harris Tweed vest. Dress it up or down.
Flyknit Trainer by Nike
And another one, and another one So Nike went H.A.M. this past summer releasing multi-color versions of every Fly Knit style, the Lunar, the Racer, and now the Trainer. Even though folks went crazy trying to get their hands on the Racers, I think this is the best combination theyve dropped. Not to mention the Trainer silhouette is the most comfy. These are hard to find but there are a few sizes left at one of my many sneaker watering holes! Theyre unisex too.
Gummy Bear Nightlight from The Land of Nod
These awesome gummy bear night lights set the mood for me that means just enough light for reading Goodnight Moon or Where The Wild Things Are to the little ones. For you that might mean something else. They look good just sitting on a shelf too.
Back Panel Color Chart Shirt by Uniform Experiment
Uniform Experiment is a brand Ive had on my radar for a minute now but have yet to pull the trigger on anything theyve dropped. Well Ive hit UE pay dirt with this simple twist on a regular blue oxford button-down. Need I say more?
The Marmont Mammoth Parka from Paragon
The Wooly Mammoth of real goose down coats is being laid to rest. Paragon Sports in NYC has been collaborating with Marmot for over 20yrs manufacturing the Mammoth parka (aka THE BIGGIE) which boasts 700-Fill down warmth. Every year they came with the illest colors and you can spot True Yorkers in most boroughs (lots uptown) rocking this collab. This coat keeps the hawk off your back in the dead of winter anywhere and I mean anywhere! Now pay attention; Paragon will be discontinuing production of the exclusive Mammoth and they are getting rid of the last few they have stocked for 50% off retail price. Do the right thing and grab one, youll thank me in January!
Trucker Jacket by Levi's
When this Levis Filson mash-up dropped a few years back I immediately scooped up the Tan one. Since then Ive worn it in nicely and it fits and looks great. Now Filson has gone and released a black one. This might be the best built, best looking trucker jacket in this hemisphere. I call it the Waxy Gordon.
Cardigan by Supreme
You know I have to let you know whats good on the cardigan side of town for this winter. Supreme (yes, Supreme again) keeps it stylish with these striped mohair cardies in some real dope colorways. A little bit grunge. Im with this.
Sierra Boots by Visvim
Visvim makes things outta Yak beard hair and all types of wild materials. Their footwear styles are right but pricey enough to keep most people away. These Serra boots are the Maybachs of tread hikers, made with natural cowhide on a Vibram sole super light and comfortable. These will cost you a pretty penny if youre not connected, but theyre worth it for the neck snaps alone.
