The press event included a runway show, performers on trampoline, appearances by celebs ranging from Solange to Eddie Redmayne, a pop-up shop in a faux locker room setting and a rare performance by Missy Elliott. It marked the first time many people had seen the expansive men's and women's collection in person, and was also streamed online so average consumers could get in on the action, as well.
While Wang has made no secret that he loves a good party, the purpose of this undertaking was a bit more business-minded: to build up even more anticipation amongst the consumers who will no doubt be clamoring for a neoprene sweatshirt emblazoned with WANG across the chest once the collection hits stores on November 6.
