After dropping a range of apparel and footwear with Puma earlier this year, the NYC natives return for their first global collection that represents the Big Apple through colorful iconic motifs inspired by the MTA transit map and the Knicks logo. This time around Dee and Ricky do their take on the classic Basket sneaker silhouette, which comes in a mid and low style, and is available now on the Puma website.
Puma also announced that it is collaborating with London-based brand Trapstar for a full Fall/Winter 2016 collection. The football inspired range will include footwear and apparel in a black and red color palette, in addition to the duo’s signature “White Noise” print. The collection will feature the Puma Cell Bubble silhouette in two colorways. The collection is set to drop on July 23.
Designer Rob Garcia’s brand En Noir also unveiled an upcoming collaboration with Puma. The partnership for Fall/Winter 2016 was teased on Instagram with a photo that shows a black sneaker with a knit black upper, a sock-fit ankle, and a fleur-de-lis pattern. The sneakers will be available later this year. --Erica Euse
