18 Waits SS13

18 Wait's SS 13 Collection calls on the era of beatniks and bohemians exploring the great states

The Cassady hat—named for Neal Cassady, Jack Kerouac’s partner in crime—might give you a clue to the inspirations for the 18 Waits SS13 collection. Influenced by travel and exploration, designer Daniel Torjman’s recent escape from the city to the Californian desert provoked him to reflect the casual cool of the country in his latest collection. The brand wanted to capture the freedom and sheer happiness of reconnecting with nature, and we think their sun-worn color palate and weathered fabrics have got it down. The collection hasn’t shied away from zeitgeisty prints, but the patterns are muted and wearable. From casual blazers to sailor shorts, 18 Waits have gone ‘on the road’, and they’re taking us along for the ride.
