Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Bing Bang will be joining Capsule for the first time in New York. Designer and artist, Anna Sheffield was raised between California, New Mexico and NYC. Her pieces capture her multifaceted personal history; tattooed, yet soft and feminine. Sheffield started making jewelry after playing around with metal and blacksmithing during her time at art school. This season, Bing Bang mixes sweet, salty, and a dash of punk into a miniatures collection that celebrates everything bite sized and downtown NYC. Black Label, Sheffield’s limited edition collection will also be shown at Capsule and is inspired by the “amulet of the wanderer.” It is a darker artisanal collection designed through the eye of the blacksmith.

Nicole Tondre and Lisa Fuller care deeply about how your butt looks. The partners started Court to create jeans that fit impeccably and flatter the bottom half of the female form. Spending hours sourcing vintage denim for new washes, the line ranges from high-waisted flares, to long and lean skinnies. Court jeans are cut to minimize the natural waistline and streamline the curve of the thigh. Slide into a pair at Capsule Women’s NY show.

Raised by a legendary surfboard shaper, Heidi Merrick’s ready to wear line is underwritten by the surf culture that she grew up in. The blue and green hues of the water and the clean lines of the ocean serve as consistent sources of inspiration for the designer throughout the seasons. Her Los Angeles studio runs as a proper atelier where all sampling and patterns are created in house, and any production that doesn’t take place there happens within walking distance of it. See Merrick’s full SS13 collection at Capsule.
