Juniper Ridge High Sierra Summer Camp

September 12, 2012 BY CAPSULESNEWS

It's not often that a bunch of fashion people get together to go camping, so the gang at Juniper Ridge sought to rectify that. Obi, Alli, and the team invited a dozen friends, retailers, and outdoor enthusiasts to the first Juniper Ridge High Sierra Summer Camp. Searching for inspiration to fuel their next aromatic blend, they loaded up their backpacks and headed south along the John Muir trail from Yosemite to the Ansel Adams wilderness. After four days and over thirty miles at an average elevation of 11,000 feet, they chillled in a rustic lodge in the Inyo mountains for a couple of days of recuperation and, of course, cold beer.

"We couldn't be happier with the way the trip turned out," said Obi. "We are hikers first, and being able to share our love of the mountains with our friends is exactly why we got started in this business in the first place."

The result of their efforts? A new scent coming out for Fall 2012, and these screensaver-worthy pictures from the trip.
