"18 Waits' A/W 2016 collection is inspired by the tour Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue made through the Northeast in 1975," designer Daniel Torjman tells WATM. Dylan and his band, together with friends like Joan Baez, Bobby Neuwirth, Ramblin Jack Elliott, Sam Shepard and Allen Ginsberg, wended their way through the frozen towns and hamlets of New England in the dead of winter often times playing 5 shows in a week.

Big wool hats, flowing scarves and layer upon layer of textured fabrics - coupled with painted faces and fueled by much alcohol - is how this band of gypsies played their way through the cold - leaving in its wake some of our favorite live music and easily our favorite Bob Dylan imagery - captured by some of the most prolific rock and roll photographers of our time.

"Our FW16 collection pulls inspiration from this tour: the music, the shenanigans, the clothing and the camaraderie that ensued throughout this long winter road trip. We weren’t there but that doesn’t mean we can’t let the spirit of the Rolling Thunder Revue live on...," he remembers.
