It's that time of year again when the Frieze Art Fair takes over the fair city of London's Regent Park and once again, Dover Street Market will be presenting a series of events. On October 12, the multi-faceted retailer will unveil it's culmination of artist and designer based collaborations and we have a taste of the full schedule here for your perusal.
First off is a window installation in collaboration with legendary swiss photographer Mr. René Burri and Comme des Garçons. The window will feature a selection of Burri's works and the man himself will also be there to sign a collection of his books in the basement at Idea Books. The DSM store will be selling limited edition T-shirts designed by the photographer and Comme des Garçons.
Another friend of Dover Street Market and honored guest, Silvia Fendi will also be in the store from 6-8pm signing copies of her new book 'Baguette,' an ode to her namesake house's most popular accessory over the last 15 years. There will also be limited edition T-shirts and scarves for sale in the store.

Jeweler and all round multi talented gentleman, William Welstead will be presenting a new selection of 'stones as jewelry' in addition to a short film starring iconic British model Stella Tennant. Welstead's hand loomed Himalayan scarves will also be for sale around the store.
One of the main components of the DSM event and for that matter, Frieze in general, is the celebration of the uncategorizable and taking the reigns of this category is creative artist Aitor Throup who will be presenting a preview of his first complete collection titled On the Effects of Ethical Stereotyping."

Finally, two magazines will debut new issues at this week's event with StyleZeitgesist launching issue 3 and SOME/THINGS Magazine unveiling of their sixth volume, titled The Dark Labyrinth.
Whilst officially taking place on October 12, the events will begin this Thursday and onwards, climaxing on Friday with a gathering in the presence of all of the above creative individuals. Complimentary refreshments will be served by Rose Bakery and the event runs from 5-8pm.
