Capsule is proud to bring Donut Shop to Berlin. The cash and carry concept, already a fave in NY and Las Vegas features a curated selection of local craftspeople and small retailers. Berlin’s got such a great scene of people doing awesome things and we’ve rounded up some of the best from near and far. Donut Shop Berlin is open to the public, and located on Capsule’s ground floor. Antik Modern


If you’ve shopped at the awesome Islington-based concept shop Albam recently, you’ve seen the pop up shop featuring midcentury furniture selected by Jason Robinson. Featuring Scandinavian design from the 1950s and 1960s, do right by your apartment and snag a pair of 1950's Grete Jalk lounge chairs; a stunning drop leaf dining table by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard or a set of six Model 78 teak dining chairs by Niels Moller.


Laundry Detergent Project


If you love clothes (and if you’re here, we assume you do) treat them to a super luxurious spin in the washer with premium, organic washing soaps by Berlin based LDP. Our favorite? The multipurpose, lavender-mint scent. Pick up a bottle. Your clothes will thank you!




Berlin’s beauty concept shop, featuring a well edited assortment of certified natural cosmetic brands, an old-school barber, and express spa treatments (perfect for a post-Berghain visit) comes to Donut Shop. Wheadon sells some of the world’s best skin and body care brands alongside her amazing house label.

Japanese flower designer Takayuki Tomita, and Geer Pouls, a Dutch floral designer and gallerist, believe flowers should be treated as art. Stop and smell the flowers and check out their extraordinary vintage pieces, beautiful works of Mobach pottery, and traditional antique pottery from Utrecht Holland at Donut Shop.

Bringing together a selection of artist-designed notecards and stationery with some of the world’s finest and rarest teas, Paper & Tea founder Jens de Gruyter has created a totally unique shopping experience at this Mitte-based boutique. Buy something to cold brew this summer!


Fräulein Brösels Schnapserwachen


We love a home-brewed spirit, and Fräulein Brösels (Miss Breadcrumbs) makes artisanal, handcrafted schnapps with carefully sourced fine fruits like black currant, hazelnut and rowan berries, an Alpine delicacy.The unusual bottles feature endearing but eerie black and white illustrations of trees, squirrels, and snails. Owners Mark Kiessling and Jessica Reitz from DYRM, Berlin’s best independent bookshop, have brought a small selection of independent motorcycle magazines and some hard-to-find fashion titles for the Donut Shop. Skim their amazing selections.

Owner Uta Geyer will bring deadstock original vintage optical frames and sunglasses, hand-selected from limited stock throughout Europe and well-known manufacturers around the world like Alain Mikli, Robert La Roche, Cazal and Rodenstock plus new models from the store's own brand, Lunettes Kollektion.


Zascho Petkow


Native Berliner Zascho Petkow handmakes beautiful wooden furniture in extremely limited quantities. His whimsical approach to objects turn the mundane into the fantastic. Meet Zascho and see his latest creations at Donut Shop.


Frau Tonis Parfum


This beautiful boutique parfumerie offers exclusively manufactured perfumes for men and women, all made in Berlin. Sample the energetically fresh Berlin Summer scent and classics like Linde Berlin, reminiscent of the city’s wonderfully fragrant linden trees, or get busy and create your own signature perfume.




The Tortus creative team designs and produces high quality hand-made ceramics in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. Following the century-old traditions, these are modern takes on traditional handmade goods. Get hands-on with the product and their maker in a way that's not normally possible in a design shop or gallery.
