Designer Inspirations - Steven Alan

With well over a decade of experience under his belt Steven Alan is the quintessential American menswear designer. Alan has carved out his own niche in the menswear community offering remarkable reinterpretations of classic designs. He constantly blends different influences in his designs, but consistently places them on a foundation of quality craftsmanship to create products that have a place in any man's wardrobe. Alan spoke with us about these influences for his upcoming collection, which will launch this week.

What were your biggest inspirations in creating this collection?

Mexico in the 40s, modern folk.

How are these influences reflected in this collection?

Lots of red, textural fabrics reminiscent of blanket patterns and clean lines.
