The Japanese label headed by Rei Kawakubo debuted the sneakers during its recent Homme Plus runway show at Paris Fashion Week. This is the first time the the CDG line has collaborated with the sportswear giant.

For the upcoming season, the two teamed up to redesign Nike’s classic Dunk silhouette. The updated shoe features a white and black colorway with clear PVC panels on the sides. Nike’s signature swoosh is included on the tongue, and “CDG” branding lines the heel.

COMME des GARÇONS's Black line also debuted a new Nike collaboration earlier this year. After first partnering in 2013, the brands reunited to release a new take on the Nike Blazer.

Over the years, the Japanese label's footwear collaborations, which have included projects with brands like Converse and Timberland, have been highly successful. --Erica Euse
