Believe it or not, Capsule season is nearly upon us once again. With Capsule Paris Men's kicking off the SS16 season on June 26 through the 28th, we thought now would be a good time to preview four brands who will be showing with us at our men's shows in New York and Paris this season.
An acronym for High Altitude Low Opening, HALO is the brainchild of Newline, an early adopter of using technical fabrics for clothing. Inspired by the Danish Special Forces, HALO is a mix of high functionality and current streetwear-friendly style. The brand is already a favorite or some of our favorites, including Hypebeast and Soto Berlin. We have a feeling you'll be hearing a lot more from them very soon. See them at Capsule Paris.
ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo
Just because everyone is dressing more casually these days, it doesn't mean you you need to settle for any old t-shirt. See ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo, for example. Since the brand's launch in 2012, men worldwide have fallen in love with the fit and fabric of these effortlessly wearable tees. And lucky for us, ATM now includes a full range of luxe casualwear. See for yourself at Capsule New York (and, later this summer, at Capsule Las Vegas, too).
With pop-culture references emblazoned onto the front of crewneck sweatshirts and tees - including "99 Problems," "Ziggy Stardust" and "Thriller" - it's not surprising that Maison Labiche has found fans in both the young and the young at heart. But don't let their sense of fun fool you. Some serious craftsmanship goes into these Made in France goods. Take them for a test drive at Capsule New York.
It's not every clothing brand that can trace its roots back to the pharmaceutical industry, but not every brand is Firas Al-Saffar. The Swedish designer left his background in science to launch the minimalist Scandi streetwear collection, and makes it a point to incorporate sustainable measures wherever possible.Find them at Capsule Paris.
