London-based label Most Favoured Nation may be new for Autumn / Winter 2015, but the brand's designer Richard Storer comes armed with years of experience - he's an alum of Nike, Levis, Diesel, Gucci and Topshop. And like those beloved brands do each season, he's going big.
Most Favoured Nation, described by Storer as "athletic luxury," will debut with an 80 piece men's collection, including an outerwear collaboration using Harris Tweed wool, tees, sweatshirts, trousers, shirting, bomber jackets and accessories, all made using high-tech fabrications like cashmere-bonded-neoprene, Dri-Fit mesh linings, and Loop-Wheeler jersey, plus a mix of furs for good measure.
MFN seeks to occupy the space between contemporary fashion and streetwear, and is designed to be worn season after season. Which is helpful if you, like Storer, work between London and Los Angeles and need to plan your wardrobe accordingly. Those cities offer the biggest points of inspiration for the collection, as seen explicitly in tees adorned with photos from Storer's road trips across the US and UK.
