We rounded up a group of our stylish and opinionated fashion friends to walk the show and choose their ten favorite pieces. In volume 1 our curators choose pieces geared towards 3 very different looks. Ranging from "future cholo," to reissues from yesteryear, to pieces for guys who are too lazy to accessorize on their own, Capsule Men's ss13 curations are here.
These shorts should settle the debate on whether or not the summer wardrobe staple can ever be "fancy." Made Super 120 wool, a luxe fabric usually reserved for suits (or at least, y'know, long pants), you can throw these suckers on with a Hanes v-neck tee and be the most put-together guy in the room.
For guys afraid of accessorizing (or maybe just too lazy), these pants do the heavy lifting for you. The woven detail around the waist begs for shirts to be tucked in so it can show off.
These Raen sunglasses are the truth. They're like a modern interpretation of the Clubmaster, which is funny, because I didn't even think the Clubmaster needed modernizing.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for orange (okay I'm definitely a sucker for orange), but I'm a little in love with this duffle from Poler, an outdoor brand I dig for its chill, decidedly un-outdoorsy vibe. Use it as your work bag in a casual office setting, or take it with you on a day trip.
This Copenhagan-based brand puts out consistently stylish, well-made beautiful basics each season, like this Oxford shirt with just enough detail to make it interesting but not "out there."
This Israeli-by-way-of-LA line produces stylish but super wearable separates, like this cotton-linen sport coat.
If you've ever wondered what it would look like if a wool peacoat and a leather varsity jacket had a coat baby (and really, who hasn't?), this is it.
Every guy needs a simple, silver-faced watch with an elegant calf leather brown band. This one, from Tsovet, fits the bill.
You didn't think I could make it through my favorites from Capsule without picking a pair of jeans, did you? The "Weird Guy" fit from denim staple Naked and Famous Denim in a dark rinse should have a place in any well-dressed guy's closet.
I guess I can't resist when not one, but two trends are combined and executed well.
Meant to be worn beyond the dugout.
A progressive alternative to those tube socks of yours.
Tie-Dye [Tech] is the new camo.
Mesh is in session.
Backpacks are my weakness. The details and silhouette on this one are on point. Skateboard not included.
Snapbacks are my other weakness. Two sets of eyes are better than one.
This is the uniform you'll receive when you make the cut for my Team.
How to train your Dragon.
Dark circles are in.
Print blocking is the new color blocking, and I love Raf Simons.
If you're not ready to print block this is a handsome way to color block.
Basketball shorts, upgraded.
I love a reissue, this one in particular because it really looks vintage! You rarely see such attention to detail when companies bring things back from yesteryear.
The Eastland loafer is a new favorite shoe of mine. I've been taking this certain type of fellas picture at flea markets arounds the East Coast for over 10 years, its the silent millionaire's loafer. No horsebit, no bumps on the sole, just a tie. A real mans bow.
I love a suit that can have fun. If you're wound up, this isn't for you.
I saw these bags at a bike shop and although I have many bags, I really wanted it. It just weighs nothing and being almost white, it will 'go with anything' solids, prints or patterns. I've always loved the JS bags, this gradient shade almost looks like it was an accident, which I like.
Brooklyn's my home, so I love this baseball jersey. You can wear it as a shirt or open with a tee.
This camera strap was made with love. Have you seen them boys? Always smiling. I love the retro pattern updated with an ultrasuede fabric to attach to my camera.
The amazing thing about the Danner boots is not only will they keep your feet/socks dry, they're light as a Nike Free and comfy like wearing a New Balance! Find me a USA boot that kicks ass and is this light!
