When the founders of BARE set out to create a lifestyle brand inspired by art, culture and travel, they had plenty of experience to pull from. Two of the founders, Grason Ratowsky and Justin Biel, are childhood friends who've traveled the world together, from New Zealand to the Sahara; the third founder, Lo Sampadian, was introduced to Ratowsky through the New York art scene.
With BARE items you will find an aesthetic that is at once distinct and innovative. With years of experience as an artist and designer, BARE Creative Director Ratowsky focuses on making items that are innately artistic, versatile and speak directly to the stylish world traveler with an adventurous spirit and a passion to seek experience.
But BARE is more than just a fashion project created by friends with similar interests. Each of the travel accessories they create are designed in Colorado and truly focus on sustainable practices - think directly repurposed material, organic cottons and hemps, protein-based materials like wool, silk, alpaca, non-carcinogenic dyes, and naturally tanned leather. And luckily for the growing number of consumers who are interested in product that is equal parts stylish and responsibly made, BARE employs creative design that's as functional as it is fashion-forward.
Products like a duffel in hemp twill and a burlap tote crafted from up-cycled coffee sacks complement a strikingly unique, yet well-put-together look.
