Capsule Best In Show: is a series where our friends, who just so happen to be prominent multi-disciplinary players in the menswear industry, give us the scoop on what they believe to be the best piece at Capsule Spring/Summer 2015, how they’d style it and why they need it in their wardrobes.

Chris Fenimore - Social Media Manager, Carson Street Clothiers

Remi-Relief Floral Popover

Brooklyn native Chris Fenimore manages all content and social media for SoHo’s menswear mecca Carson Street Clothiers. He’s also an insanely talented photographer and very into popovers. This casual, indigo dyed floral popover from Remi-Relief got his vote for the best piece at Capsule NYC:

WATM: Chris, what were you digging about this piece?

CF: I liked the popover because it just looks super soft from afar; Like it’s apparent right away that this thing is comfortable. I like popovers. I really like popovers a lot. Can you include that I like popovers?

Haha word, how does this popover fit in with you overall approach to personal style?

I wear a lot of florals, going with a pattern up top and keeping it super simple down low. That’s kind of how it fits into my aesthetic and what drew me to the piece also, the comfort and the print.

Piece by piece, what would you wear with this?

I’d definitely wear them with some selvedge denim and those navy EG Vans, because they’re super simple and I could keep the floral going up top.
