BWGH Pop-Up Shop

Words by Gino Delmas

These kids won’t stop until they achieve what they had in mind. After hitting it right with their 'Brooklyn Parle Français' sweater (if you missed it, you were not living on this planet last year) they step up one more time with the opening of a pop-up store in Paris.

Since 2010, David Obadia and Nelson Hassan, the two founders of BWGH, have deployed incredible energy in every corner of the planet to make a name in the fashion game. And they have, through collaborations (Larose, Opening Ceremony, Colette, …), exhibitions, a bi-annual magazine (w/ French magazine Snatch) and refreshing lookbooks. They have carried their message far beyond clothes. Speaking of clothes, their collections are inspired by travels (United States, Italy, etc.). As these two Parisian friends like to say, “they are fascinated by elsewhere." And who knows where it will lead them? For the moment it has led them to this beautiful space on the banks of the Seine, in the heart of Cité de la Mode.

Cité de La Mode et du Design. 34 quai d’Austerlitz 75013 Paris. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm to 8pm.
