We love a good collabo, and the latest concept from The Ace Hotel Palm Springs, Arkitip, and Generic Surplus footwear is really on point. A Shoe and Tote set was designed and developed in a collaborative process between the 3 entities. The shoe is made of a new mesh material that’s breathable for the desert heat, quick drying and non slip for the pool side servers. The Ace Tote is made out of this same mesh material.
The set will be limited to 500 pairs, 144 pairs of women and 356 pairs of men’s, sold at hand picked retailers around the world. It will also sold at the Ace Hotel Palm Springs as well as at the Arkitip and Generic Surplus websites. Each shoe is made of the Generic Mesh in white with a slightly off white rubber foxing and rubber toe cap to match the color of the lounge chair rope at the Ace. The bottom sole is the Ace orange that runs through the hotel and the top ridge, lace area and insole are the same off white color canvas as the rubber. The back suede patch is army green to match the army canvas around the pool and it’s topped off with an Ace orange colored project logo in the insole. Every shoe will come with a signature Ace Tote made of the mesh, with the project logo on one side and the other blank. The set will be available July 1 and will cost $85. If you cant wait, you can pre-order your set today at Arkitip.
