A dose of (capsule) Las Vegas: Norse Projects

February 11, 2010 BY CAPSULESNEWS

Norse Projects10 Traditional with a distinctly Scandinavian flavor, Norse Projects creates clothing designed for men who know how to dress with equal parts form and function. Inspired in large part by life in Denmark -- the country's history, heritage fashion and landscape all influence the design -- the FW10 collection runs the gamut from heavy wool knits to canvas jackets made in Italy and 5-panel hats born in the USA. Norse Projects also has some interesting collaborations in the works for FW10. With its extensive Artist Program, Norse hands the design reigns over to the likes of UK artist Jody Barton and HuskMitNavn of Denmark for a line of t-shirts; also see a partnership with Ally Capellino, in which Norse Projects and the cult British bag designer go halfsies on a waxed canvas rucksack. Don't miss out on seeing this emerging brand at (capsule) Vegas on February 22-23. Find some more looks below. (Steve Dool)
