A dose of (capsule) Las Vegas: Bblessing

February 12, 2010 BY CAPSULESNEWS

pic3Bblessing, the ever-popular Lower East Side boutique, will be showing the AW10 collection from their in-house clothing label of the same name next week at (capsule) Las Vegas. Designer Nicholas Kratochvil gave us an inside look at select pieces from the collection, including this chunky wool and cashmere blend cardigan at left, which Kratochvil deemed a sort of "anti-Christmas sweater" for its black magic pentacles replacing the usual snowflakes. (For those only looking to dabble in the occult, there are hats and scarves with the same theme, as well.) For outerwear, the line includes a double-breasted tartan coat and a slim-fit denim jacket available in several washes, including an overdyed version in red. The collection also marks some new additions to Bblessing's design repetoire: the label's first foray into jewelry, with a set of seven pins created with Derrick Cruz of Black Sheep and Prodigal Sons, and a black velvet jacket, the first time Bblessing has worked with that fabric.
