After a successful pop-up shop last fall, the Wolverine Company Store officially opened their doors down the block as a permanent location at 254 Elizabeth Street in Nolita. The shop reflects Wolverine’s 130 year history with décor taken directly from their original Michigan factory and repurposed signage from the brand’s past. In addition to the brand’s highly sought-after Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection of boots and shoes based on archival designs, the shop carries their trend-driven No. 1883 Collection, women’s footwear from 1000 Mile by Samantha Pleet, and an assortment of other likeminded brands, including Tellason Denim, Filson, Tanner Goods, Bklyn Dry Goods, David Hart & Co, Left Field NYC and Samantha Pleet’s RTW collection. The store features a backroom, which has been used for movie screenings and plans to be used for pop-ups and special events– we heard a rumor about a barber and shoe-shine duo inhabiting the spot during the holiday shopping season. Get excited.
