Cutting-edge Los Angeles-based streetwear brand 424 landed in Italy last week with a special exhibition inside Slam Jam Milano just in time for the menswear shows. Located just nextdoor to Slam Jam’s workspace, the new “guest room” setup features an installation by 424 founder, Guillermo Andrade, including the latest collection for his streetwear brand.
Aptly named “The Painter,” the newly launched collection was primarily inspired by his childhood memories of painting houses with his father. This latest pop-up from Slam Jam is housed in the Italian brand’s newest location in Milan’s arts district, Brera. The initial unveiling of the pop-up was on January 13 and although the space is a temporary one running adjacent with the menswear shows through to the February women’s shows, 424’s LA boutique on North Fairfax remains permanent and will offer the new collection.
